Easter - Before Church

The Easter Bunny came to our house while everyone

was sleeping, and the kids were excited to see what

was left in their buckets. Each of the got a new t-shirt

and an assortment of candy. Before church, we took 

pictures of the kids and the parents. Alton was not happy

about the picture taking, but was persuaded to stand

by his siblings. He was NOT persuaded to smile.

Easter Eggs!

We managed to fit coloring Easter Eggs into our 

busy, busy Saturday. All of the kids had fun coloring

eggs, even if all of them didn't enjoy the photos.

Saturday is a Special Day

After the Tumbling Showcase, we went to the track.

Some of us ran, some played football, and some played in the sand.

Jonah and I went to Wingers for his birthday lunch.
He loves their sticky fingers and the asphalt pie.

Ruby and I went to the General Women's Broadcast

at the church, and then to Waffle Love for a treat. 

1st Grade Egg Hunt

Milo's 1st Grade Class had a party on Friday, March 25th.

I got to help organize things. Mila's Mom came up with

a cute egg craft, and we had an egg hunt. Then, the kids

came inside for a treat. It's been a long year for these sweet

first graders. They're a great group of kids and they have 

an awesome teacher. I'm so glad she got to come back!

Tumble Starz Showcase

Ruby and Milo had their Tumble Starz Showcase

on Saturday, March 26th. Ruby wasn't cleared by

the doctor to participate, but her teacher let her

run the music, so she was still a part of the performance.

Milo did great! It was so fun to watch him.

The Lion King

Scera Park's play this year was the Lion King,

and it was AMAZING. A few of the kids and I went

to see it, and I was blown away (like every year) by it.

The scenery, costumes, and children were amazing.

I'm so grateful our kids get to be part of these great plays.

Ruby is excited for her turn next year. :)

Toothless Goes to the Trackmeet

Alton and Toothless came with me to Bentley's

track meet on the 24th of March.

It was cold, but Alton kept warm by running

up and down the ramp at the bleachers.

Bentley kept warm by laying on the turf

out of the wind when he wasn't running.

I got to babysit Toothless while his Alton played.
