Daniel Floyd
Warren and Becky's baby boy was born this morning!
He was a big one - 9 lbs 10 oz, and 22 inches.
I wish I was there to see him firsthand!
I've asked who Daniel looks like - Kylie, or Kenna,
and haven't gotten a great answer, so I dug up
the girls' newborn photos to compare.
First is Kylie, Kenna is second.
It's difficult to tell who he resembles from these
pictures, but I'm going to go with Kenna.
Warren has promised more photos on their blog.
We are can't wait to see more of Daniel.

Carded
My brother, Greg, is serving a mission in Portugal.
He returns home this June (on John's birthday!).
His mission has been full of interesting stories,
Here's her introduction:
Today I want to tell you about Greg's latest adventure. Those of you who know Greg, know that he is a special kid. Special in a lot of ways. Special in his sweet, loving nature. Special in his unique sense of humor. Special in the way he has to wash his hands 57 times a day. Special in the way that allowed him to get mugged without realizing that he was mugged until the next day.

April Five
When I finished my Project 12,
I said that I might try THIS as my next project.
(Project 52 was the one that started this "project" thing.)
It seems a little ambitious, but I haven't come up
with a better idea, and I think it will be fun
to have monthly photos of the kids together.
(And by fun, I mean that looking at the photos will be fun.
If today is any indication, taking them will be sort of painful.)
So here is my goal -
On the 5th of each month, I will post a photo
of my five kids together.
Here is the first one:
And as a bonus today, I am posting 1 thing about each kid.
It would be fun to do this each month, but we'll see.
Bentley - He likes to play basketball. All. The. Time.
He plays at recess, he shoots at home, he begs me
to let them play basketball for PE at school.
Maxwell - He has been practicing piano before school
most days so that he can get his chores done and play
computer games right after he does his homework.
It's really nice to have him so self-motivated.
Jonah - He is crazy about soccer. He asked us to sign
him up for spring and fall soccer, but we weren't ready
to commit to an entire season (or two),
so he is taking a sports skills class with Max,
where he will spend one day learning about soccer.
We thought it was a great compromise.
He also plays soccer at recess (at least when we don't
have snow on the ground and he gets to go outside).
Ruby - She is excited to dance "on a stage" for her
creative dance recital next month, and for a while, she
told everyone she saw about it. Now, she's moved on
to telling everyone she meets that she has a new bed.
Milo - He is really into turning things "on and off,"
as well as "opening and closing" things.
He likes us to lift him up to turn on/off the lights,
and likes to be the one who opens/closes all the doors.
Sometimes it's cute; when we're in a hurry it isn't as cute.
