I had a difficult time getting tickets for our family
to attend the Provo City Center Temple Open House.
Eventually, I was able to find enough at one time for
all of us, but it was during Alton's nap time. Because the
Payson Temple Open House was so crowded and took so
long, I was afraid to take Alton at nap time. John stayed
home with him, and I took the five older kids to the Temple.
It was awesome! We didn't have to wait at all, the lines
weren't long, and the Temple was gorgeous. The most
beautiful Temple I have ever seen. Everything in it is perfect.
I loved being there with the kids, but was sad that Alton
wasn't with us. It was so easy to attend the open house
that I went home and made reservations for Alton and I
to attend while the kids were at school later in the week.
The older kids cooperated for pictures - they were awesome
for the entire experience - but Alton didn't want to be
anywhere near the Christus. I'm so glad that all of the kids
and I were able to go! I hope they'll want to go back.
