Ruby left her hospital bracelet on all weekend. 

She wanted it on when she went back to school on 

Monday so that she'd have Proof that she'd really been there.

She and her friends are very good story tellers,

so I understood why she needed the Proof.

Ruby's friend (and Mrs. S's son) N

came by to bring Ruby gifts and a note.

He wanted to make sure she was okay.

His note is the cutest thing ever.

"Dear Ruby,

I'm sorry I wasn't at school yesterday to see

how you hurt your back really bad. I was at my

cousin's from Texas house having fun, meanwhile

at school you hurt you're back really bad.

Jonah's Birthday - ELEVEN

Jonah's birthday started bright and early at his

Knowledge Bowl Competition.

He was the team captain, and learned each

round how to better lead his group.

Jonah chose Sweeto Burrito for his family lunch.

The lucky guy had Pa and Grandma H, and Greg and Kristina
here to celebrate with him. He wanted brownies instead of a cake
and best laid plans to make some went awry, so he ended
up with some pretty good brownies from Smith's.
His gifts from Mom and Dad were a battle axe,
a book, and Minecraft for the WiiU.

After our family lunch celebration, he met some friends

at Hang Time for trampoline fun, more brownies, and more presents.

I hope he had a great day!

Knowledge Bowl 2016

One of the kids reminded me the other day that my 

New Year's Goal was to keep my blog up to date. It was a good goal. :/

Jonah's Knowledge Bowl Competition was on his birthday this year!

He was on a team with his best friend, Jefferson, and

three girls. Cherry Hill had a new coach this year, and

he was great. My boys have never loved going to practice

like Jonah did this year. He learned a ton, and although they

didn't win all of their matches (1-3), it was a great experience.
