R Family Goes to Scout Camp

Friday night at Maple Dell was Family Night,
and we all drove up to see Bentley and his camp.
The boys wanted to run wild, and were bored
because I wouldn't let them. Milo managed to
fall down the "stairway to heaven," but was only
scratched up a little bit. Bentley helped make some
yummy fajitas for dinner, taught his brothers how to build a fire,
and then showed us (reluctantly) around camp.
It was really pretty. The deer hanging out in the middle
of camp were a little strange, but pretty, too.

Cleo to the Temple!

Cleo went through the temple for the first
time on July 15th. Brent, Carla, and Judy
drove up from California to be here, and Elizabeth, Taylor,
and I were there, too. I'm so grateful for Temples
and for Eternal Families. It was wonderful to be
together in the Temple.

While Judy was in town we went to Yuki a few times,
and to Waffle Love once. We also introduced her to Swig.
I am not sure why almost everything I like to share is food. :)

Scout Camp

John went to Scout Camp with Bentley for the first
part of the week. They went to Maple Dell, near Payson.
Bentley and Daniel were the only boys there from
our ward, but it sounds like they had fun.
John took some pictures of camp for me.
Bentley did archery, rowing, rifle shooting,
leather, and weather. He had to pass a swim test to
do rowing out on the lake. His scout master, Scott,
tells me that Bentley is a good cook. We will have
to put that to the test sometime.
